United Carpets are now the third largest independent carpet retailer in the UK; and have just had a successful floatation on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
We have over 50 years' experience in the rapidly expanding and attractive retail-based, floor-coverings marketplace, and this February we opened our 52nd franchised outlet - in fact we're now at the stage where we are opening at least one new store every month.
Spurred on by our success so far, we are now aiming for 100 stores within three years with good quality franchisees to power them. With lucrative credit terms from overseas suppliers, financial, marketing, merchandise and recruitment support plus extensive training at one of our flagship stores, franchisees need not have sector experience. The carpet industry is worth £1.7 billion a year and with the constant trend towards home improvements, new franchisees can enjoy a business with a serious shelf life.
