Subway wins top industry award
Sandwich bar franchise, Subway, has won Specialist Sandwich Bar Chain of the Year Award at the Sammies Awards 2011.Subway, which beat off competition from the likes of Greggs, Pret, and The Streat, won the award in recognition for its stores' performance in driving the business forward and achieving the most impressive development. The strict criteria for judging included factors such as standard of facilities, the shopping experience, customer care, presentation, product quality, sales success, innovation and marketing.
Andrew McCulloch, Subway Stores Head of Operations for the UK, said: "It is a great honour to receive this level of recognition within the industry. Thanks goes out to all across the business whose commitments to high standards and progression have been vital in driving the company forward."
Subway is keen to continue its expansion across Scotland and has franchise opportunities available throughout the country including in Glasgow, Ayr, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
